Terms and Conditions of Use for the Skelb24.lt

Skelb24.lt is a platform for posting private and commercial listings. We are glad you are using our service and want your experience to be convenient and safe. Please read these terms — they explain how the Website works and what obligations each party takes on.

By using the Website, you confirm your agreement with these Terms. The Administration may update them at any time; the current version is always available on this page.

1. Role of the Website

We provide a platform for posting listings — and nothing more. The Website is not a party to any transactions, does not act as an intermediary, agent, guarantor, or representative of any party, and does not verify the accuracy of listings.

Full responsibility for the content of listings, the legality of goods and services offered, and the fulfilment of transaction obligations rests solely with the users.

⚠️ We strongly recommend settling payments in person only. Any advance payment, deposit, or transfer of funds prior to a personal meeting is made entirely at your own risk.

2. Prohibited Activities

It is strictly prohibited to post materials or take actions on the Website that:

- involve fraud, deception, extortion, phishing, or attempts to unlawfully obtain personal data;
- involve advance payment, deposits, or any financial transfers prior to a personal meeting;
- constitute spam, mass mailings, referral links, or automated posting;
- advertise third-party websites, services, marketplaces, or competing listing boards, or contain hidden links intended to redirect users;
- violate the laws of the Republic of Lithuania or the European Union;
- offer prohibited goods and services, including narcotic substances, weapons, ammunition, forged documents, counterfeit money, and other illegal items;
- contain insults, threats, discrimination, hate speech, 18+ content, or pornography;
- infringe copyright, trademark rights, or other intellectual property.

If a user's actions result in claims, lawsuits, or losses brought against the Website by third parties, the user agrees to fully compensate the Website for all related costs and damages.

3. Moderation and Blocking

The Administration reserves the right, without prior notice and without explanation, to:

- remove any listing or other content;
- restrict account functionality;
- temporarily or permanently block a user's account.

Blocking or removal does not entitle the user to compensation, reimbursement of expenses, or an explanation of the decision made.

4. Liability

The Website is not liable for:

- actions or omissions of users or third parties;
- losses, material damage, harm to health or reputation arising from the use of the Website or transactions conducted through it;
- the accuracy, quality, or legality of goods and services offered in listings;
- loss of funds due to fraudulent actions by other users;
- disputes between users — the Website does not participate in their resolution and does not act as an arbitrator.

The user bears full and independent responsibility before third parties and government authorities for their actions and posted content.

5. Paid Services

The Website offers additional paid options: boosting a listing in the feed, highlighting with colour or a frame, VIP status, priority placement in search and categories, pinning a listing, and other promotional tools.

Payment. Accepted via internet banking of Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Citadele, and Šiaulių bankas, as well as by Visa and Mastercard cards through Stripe — in euros. Payments are processed through the MakeCommerce.lt system.

Refunds. All paid services are digital and are provided immediately upon payment. In accordance with EU legislation on distance contracts where performance has begun with the user's explicit consent, refunds are not available.

No refund will be issued in any of the following cases:

- removal of a listing by the Website administration;
- blocking or deletion of the user's account;
- user error when selecting a service or making a payment;
- the user's voluntary decision to stop using the Website or a specific service;
- a listing's non-compliance with the Terms, legal requirements, or moderation standards;
- any other actions or omissions by the user or third parties.

This policy applies in all cases listed above — except where expressly required otherwise by EU law.

By completing a payment, you confirm that you have read and understood the no-refund policy, give your explicit consent to the immediate commencement of the service, and knowingly waive your right to withdraw from the contract in respect of the service already commenced.

Price changes. Prices and the list of services may change at any time. New terms take effect from the moment of publication on the Website.
